Got back from the Porsche dealership in Orlando this afternoon. They just got in a total of 7 Caymans. 2 black, 1 Silver, 3 White and 1 Midnight Blue. Not to mention the Artic Silver Demo car on the showroom floor. They were all still in their wrapping with a few having a couple of the wheels exposed. They were all failrly low spec though. I was suprised. Not a one had the sport chrono, most if not all had the standard wheels, can't be positive because some were totally covered. I did notice that the ride height appeared a bit more than the Demo on the showroom floor. Thats totally subjective because I didn't measure. Itstruck me immediately though so it's an intuitive response. I don't believe any of the cars had PASM so that may have contributed to the ride height. They all looked good though. The midnight blue was the only car not yet sold. It will be available sometime next week for a test drive I was told. It was great to see the cars actually getting here. I checked on my order and was told it had been moved to a February build.Damn! I was hoping to have it in time for Sebring in March butI think thats pushing it. Seeing all those gorgeous Caymans and knowing I'll have to wait a little longer for mine now is driving me crazy!
Be thankful you dont have to wait till April like me hehehehe
The suspension has supports in it that need to be removed after shipping - that is why the cars appear about 1-1/2 inches taller than they will be.
Checked with my dealer today and they had only received one additional PCNA car which they will sell through a lottery to someone on the Cayman Swaiting list. None of the SOLD cars had yet arrived. The Sale's manager said that the moment they do arrive they will sell them, because the dealerwill be invoiced when the car comes off the transporter. I guess the PCNA cars will be invoiced next Friday? This dealer is a short drive from the West Coast port and Porsche sent an e-mail Thursday indicating that their goal was to deliver all Caymans by the 14th. My guess would be that because of the proximity to the port that Porsche will wait to Monday to start delivering the Sold cars at least to my dealer.

Rick, Thanks for that bit of info. I was a little worried there for a minute. They were definetly high.
Here's a couple of pics from Brandywine Porsche of new Caymans sitting on their lot. VINs #0768 and 1088.

Got the call yesterday that even though I was told the day before that cars would ship from port on 1/11 that my car was now on the lot, but I can't pick it up until Wednesday 'per Porsche.' They are going to get the sport shifter installed Monday and I'll pick it up first thing on Wednesday morning for the drive back from DC to NC. I expect I-95 to be lined with Cayman fans hoping to catch a glimpse of me.
