I'm replacing the driver's-side guard on my '77 Australian-delivered 911. As the car is fitted with a radio, I'll need to drill a new hole for the antenna. I can simply copy the location from the original guard, it "appears" correct, but before I do I thought I'd check if that was in the right spot. Does anyone know if Porsche ever published factory dimensions for antenna placement? If anyone has an original Australian-delivered car and would be kind enough to measure the antenna location on the guard for me, the a,b,c dimensions in the image attached, that would be great 👍 Cheers, Jon

I measured this way. 130 square off edge of guard, 410 from tip of fender to both to centre top Ariel. 77 and 78 build cars, some early longhood others i checked both different again. Spare guard on wall and my 78 sc both 375 from tip of guard.

Many thanks for making the measurements, much appreciated indeed! The way you have measured is a sensible one also. I'm assuming as the radios were often installed locally by dealerships rather than being fitted at the factory in Stuttgart there could have been a bit of variation from time to time. I'll need to check my old guard next time I'm at the bodyshop to compare
