Thanks for the replies and I agree it was the vague heading for the item being the main reason for the lack of interest....

It is a nice feature that you can adjust the throw to suit.

Looking at the advert again, this isn't the usual B&M short-shift kit, but the one which modifies the original shifter to change the throw.
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

Came across this earlier on Ebay and I'd read some good reports on here about the B & M short shifter so thought I'd bid on it and low and beyhold............ I won it for £13.37 (£28.27 to include postage)!
The question is will it fit my 2003 C2 (manual of course)? Any advice greatly accepted :?:

You got a real bargain there. Probably because it was such a non-descript advert title - well done for finding it!!
The seller must be Porsche specialist Neil Bainbridge, judging by the location.
i was loking at that but didn't bid because i thought he was taking the P1ss with the postage price you can send two wheel rims for £15 , overall still cheap i know but hate getting ripped of with high postage

Richard H - your correct, it was Neil that sold it.
Unfortunately, that's the way eBay works. As you say, if you don't like it, don't bid.

I see B&M have discontinued it, but it is still a cheap buy (even with the postage). Will be interesting to hear what it is like.
+1
I never understand people who gripe about the P&P.
It's all part of the price. :dont know:
You can add up can't you?
If £1 bid + £40 P&P < £100 value of the XYZ: that's called a bargain.
If £140 bid + £FREE P&P > £100 value of the XYZ; that's called "should have bought it direct from Tesco and saved your money!"
eBay is clamping down on "excessive" P&P, but the reason people do it is their excessive fees!
I would rather give the fees saved to the seller (or to me if I'm selling!) rather than eBay.
Great buy, I paid much more than that for a B&M "style" shifter.
I still think it is the best money I have spent on the car, the gearshift throw was so dissapointing compared to expectation on the car before I fitted this.
