This was due to some plastic debree from a botched previous repair to the plastic switch flap.

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

I have already refilled the hydraulic liquid which was cery low, but it made no difference.
Hi All, first sunny day after the winter and it turns out my roof doesn’t open fully anymore.
It stops 2/3rds of the way there, and when I keep pressing the rocker button there are switch clicking sounds coming from both the front fuse box, and the back of the car, but it doesn’t move anymore. It closes correctly again from this position.
I have already refilled the hydraulic liquid which was cery low, but it made no difference.
Any ideas what else might be stuck? Why Is it stopping always in this exact same position?
the car stood with no battery most of the winter if that makes a difference?
thanks
James

yes, it was the front windscreen microswitch stuck in closed position. This was due to some plastic debree from a botched previous repair to the plastic switch flap. An easy fix, but quite counterintuitive as the roof stops so long after unlatching! I ended up paying $200 to a convertible roof expert to find this 🙈
Let me know if it’s the same for you?
When you say the car drives beautifully .... does that mean the parking sensors and seat positioning motors etc all work and you detect no faults what so ever despite the codes suggesting otherwise?.....AND all those bulbs work , they are not out !
2- state of the LHS battery ? .....voltage and if its been left without a trickle charger .....if so a voltage drop = throws codes like confetti at a wedding .

hi John when I say I'd drives perfectly I mean that it goes like a methhead on a motorbike!! Pulls like a train. But that's not to say it's full boost.as for the other things the lights rear numberplate is a loose wire the courtesy like is a snapped wire .the seats threw up that code after i unplugged them but won't disappear but seems all work. The batteries are brand new correct AGM and lead acid on the starter.the only things I've not looked at are the boost. Control and the HVAC motor any help greatly received
Its been another few years since. Did either of you manage to resolve this error? My car comes up with the same error but drives fine. Would like to clear it if possible.
