Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

4 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

This is local to me and I really like what has been done to it. However, in my opinion it it extremely expensive for something that started as a basic 996. I can see how the spending adds up, I bet the 4.0 rebuild was close to 20k. I would appreciate input for the forum on this one. Thanks! https://slo.craigslist.org/ctd/d/san-luis-obispo-2002-porsche-911/7605500669.html

I would like to see one of these in person http://gtspirit.com/2016/09/13/67-77...h-3-3-million/

POST 3Original post

As a point of reference, I had an IMS failure in my 2002 996 Carrera 4 cab , and decided to have the dealer replace the engine with a factory rebuilt 3.6 engine. That alone cost $24k. I was told this was not very smart , and I should have junked it. For me , it was worth it.

POST 4 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Not shockingly it is still for sale but at a lower price. If I keep waiting maybe I can get a killer deal on it. https://slo.craigslist.org/ctd/d/san-luis-obispo-2002-porsche-911/7653964473.html
