I am using a ppi 5440 5 channel amp that does about 50 x 4 and 150 x 1, but I have it putting out 200 rms to the sub as I am running it at 2 ohm 4 ohm in series, or parrallell, forgot which term.

I might then change the rears with some coaxials but am told it is a waste.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

4 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

  • Rennlist: 1 discussions

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

Generation: 20261026T213932Z · outcome-qualification-6. Deterministic extraction; no AI model inference. How we use sources

POST 3Original post

Hey Sean- I just completely over-hauled the stereo system in my 99 911 Cab. I like what you've done with the sub. Since I have the cab, I had to sacrifice my back seats (folded them down and built a custom box to handle two 10" JL audios. Which components (head unit, amps, speakers, etc.) did you decide to go with? -Joe

POST 4 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Gee thanks! They are not trashed they are the supple leather. That's how they look and wear. They are actually in great shape. Some of the pictures are from before I detailed the car when I just got it and it was digusting. Joseph, I am using the stock deck with the becker pre out kit for 25 bucks. It provides 4 rca's out and is pretty clean. I am using a ppi 5440 5 channel amp that does about 50 x 4 and 150 x 1, but I have it putting out 200 rms to the sub as I am running it at 2 ohm 4 ohm in series, or parrallell, forgot which term. I have not yet changed out the stock speakers. I am going to put focal 4" components in the front and add another ppi x3 crossover and call it quits. I might then change the rears with some coaxials but am told it is a waste. I might also add an eq but I doubt it.
