Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

6 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

My 2 month old GT4’s air con is taking over 5 mins to get cold, even when set to max. For multiple minutes it’s just blowing out warm air. I appreciate its super hot at the moment but my wife’s Lexus starts shipping ice cool air from the vents in about 40 secs. I spoke to the dealer who didn’t seem to know if that’s normal or not, which isn’t very reassuring… Can any owners on here confirm how theirs is performing ?

POST 2Original post

Have you checked the settings after studying the 'user manual'?

POST 3 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Great question - I am still waiting for the manual to be provided by OPC Is there settings that can effect this temp output ?

POST 4Original post

The full manual is available via the Porsche Good To Know App - download that and have a look through. If you have climate control then yes there do appear to be settings which can be changed via the multi function display

POST 5Original post

I had an issue with the aircon that was similar to this One of the units was faulty. Get the dealer to take a look It should be totally fine. I did have an experience in the week where I thought it was happening again, but I just turned the ignition off, then turned the car back on and stuck it on max AC. It was back in no time

POST 6Original post

Mine isn’t anywhere near as cold as my old GTS, but it’s cold enough I guess and I live in Scotland where it would freeze the c0ck off a snowman most of the year…. I’ll get them to check it if it ever needs to go in prior to its first service, but I was unimpressed compared to the ice cold from the 981..
