This is not a probability of success.

Coverage and how to read this overview
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

I have a leased 01 996 and am wondering who else does a lot of modifications to their leased car. So far I have added the following items.
Gt-3 front aero bumper with grill inserts. 2000.00
Artic Silver and Carbon Fiber interior pieces. 850.00
Fabspeed exhaust 1000.00
Gemaballa Lightweight comp wheels. 2750.00 (ebay)
Cargraphic pedals 325.00
I am about to spend 2000.00 on a stereo an 1500.00 on the side aero kit.
AM I CRAZY???
WHat have you all done to your lease???
Have we seen your pics yet?
Re the lease car...personally I wouldn't do mods on a lease car, but that's just me. It also depends on whether or not you plan to purchase or turn in. I would save all the original stuff I could so you could change back when it comes time to turn in. If nothing else you can sell the stuff you added on ebay.

IMO, it's a lot of wasted money ($10k) on a lease vehicle. Things like wheels are fine, you can always sell them. When you get into Exhaust and performance things like that, do you really want to go through the troble of pulling it off and trying to sell it.
HEre's another thing to think about. How much more per month is it to lease a Turbo. Could the 10k be used to upgrade into a Turbo or a c4s??
Mitch, that was 30 hrs after it was painted, it looks perfect now. Just to clear something up, I am not so concerned with the cash and here's why. My friend own Prestige Imports in Baltimore. (See ad in Dupont, very cool cars) His guy put the exhaust on for me as well as the rims. I have spent nearly no money in labor. The artic silver interior was 500 plus carbon sifter. So basically I will take back the exhaust, shifter, and wheels. I think the 500 is well spent on the AS interior to drive for 3 years with. The only thing thats going witht the car is the kit and AS interior. The reason I have not stepped up to a turbo is ny company pays for car and insurance so no more in either one without it coming directly out of salary, if I could buy my way out of the car. I just really wanted to know what other people were doing to minimize loss at the end, as well as ideas of easy or not so easy mods than can not make you lose your *** to bad with.
Oh yeah, I remember because I "stole" a couple for my silver Porsche image collection. BTW I now have 700 pics of silver Pcars of all kind. Now I don't know what to do with them. It's about a 200meg file.
Anyway, if you saved your original "stuff" then worst case if you can't use on next car you can sell on ebay.
