Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Also, the 7mm head set screw on the right side between the two tension arms needs to be backed out quite a way for the unit to come out.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

POST 1Original post

I followed all the steps to remove my CD player out, but it is just stuck somewhere when I pulled it. Help............................ P.S I am sure all the screws are off

POST 2Original post

Judging from the picture you attached I assume you followed the Article for removal of the headunit? Are you certain you managed to get all the four aluminium arms to release the unit? At which point is the unit stuck? Half-way out? An inch? Not at all? Since the pic you attached isn't of your headunit it is hard to tell how far you got. If you didn't get it out at all my bet would be that one or more of the arms aren't under enough tension to actually release the headunit.

POST 3Original post

Also, the 7mm head set screw on the right side between the two tension arms needs to be backed out quite a way for the unit to come out. You can check whether you have the tension arms retainers rotated correctly by pushing on the arms - if the retainers are clocked correctly, there will be minimal to no play in the tension arms.
