Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

0 original-poster resolution reports. Counts can overlap; they are not unique people or a success rate.
0 discussions have direct query context; 0 report a fix in that context. Other evidence may inherit the discussion’s subject.
Suggestion
I do not think that either will set the alarm off though.
Leading evidence: 'Set alarm off though' (no explicit attributable resolution; this is a reported action or suggestion). Across 1 matching discussions, The most frequently discussed action is 'Set alarm off though' (1 discussions). For that action, 0 discussions report a resolution and 0 report an unsuccessful attempt. No action has an explicit, attributable resolution report under the current rules. These are forum reports and suggestions, not a confirmed diagnosis.
Source reports, not a diagnosis or a success probability. Counts refer to discussions and can overlap.
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

I just did a stupid thing, I forget where did i park
it is 7 level, so I end up going from 1st level and walk up.
is there a button that can turn on the car alarm or make horn sound.
So at least, at that level, i can hear it, rather than walk the entire floor?
thanks
This sounds like a Seinfeld episode! You aren't carrying a TV, are you???
Good question though. Most alarms have a "panic button" of some sort. You still have to get within range though, so I hope you found it by now, the old fashioned way.
I've just searched the Owner's Manual and didn't see anything. Time to ask dealer if no one else posts a reply.
I wonder if the "RemoteKey" thing that is in the Group Buy phase at the moment has this sort of thing. Anyone?
I believe the dealer can program your car to "chirp" with lock and unlock. The Remote Key also gives you this function. I do not think that either will set the alarm off though. That would be a nice function to have coming out of a concert, ball game, etc........
No alarm "panic" available. RemoteKey will give you a chirp and ability to remotely turn on your headlights. Either may help you find your car.
What you really need is this:
keychain recorder
so you "
will certainly never again forget where ... you left your car." Of course that won't work if you forget where you left your keys. Then you'd need one of these:
keychain locator
.
BTW, may I suggest that next time you misplace your car, start at the top floor and walk
down
.

New Garmin GPS's have a "Where's my car? feature that activates automatically when you take them off the dock; it will save the GPS coordinates of where it left the dock and help you find your way back to your car.

I was looking thru the manual and I could not find any instructions on how to get the chirp activated. Dun tell me I have to go to the dealer to get that done.
On my 996TT, while installing a short shifter, I found the switch that controls the center console storage bin signal that tells the car-locking system that the bin is open. I taped the switch open (or closed, can't remember) with black electrical tape.
Then, whenever locking the car, it would chirp.
You need to tell the service department at your
Porsche
dealer that it is intentionally "broken" or they might go ahead and "fix" it for you. They were well-intentioned, but then I had to "break" it again.
My technique at DIA, if I'm gone for longer than a couple of days, is to write the location on the parking ticket dispensed on entry and stash that in my wallet behind my license. That, plus I always, always park on the same floor.
