Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

I don't think Porsche sell it as a separate unit - I think you would need to replace the cluster.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

6 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

Would anyone have the part number for the TFT screen on the right hand side of a 718 Cayman/Boxster instrument cluster? It isn’t listed in the parts catalogue I have. I’m hoping it can be bought as a separate part. Mine is on the blink. Thanks in advance.

POST 2Original post

I don't think Porsche sell it as a separate unit - I think you would need to replace the cluster. I just found this via google. Not sure how hard it is to fit - looks like it's on some sort of a ribbon cable so maybe not that hard. Would also assume the hassle of coding a new cluster / sorting the odometer etc..... https://store.minitools.com/en/sei-disp165-display...

There are screens available on eBay but they are cheap Chinese things and as I have some credit on Rosepassion I was hoping it would be available separately.

That link works on my mobile, looks to be the correct part. Fitting it may be my issue.

POST 5Original post

By the looks of the parts diagram you'll need to buy the whole cluster. There are lots of different part numbers for different models and gearbox configurations so it's probably easier if you give your OPC a call.

POST 6 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Sent the cluster off to be repaired, apparently it’s a pretty common problem and not an expensive fix. Royal Mail have lost the parcel, which is going to be an expensive fix.

This is a source reference. Confirm exact model applicability in the original material.
