or is it possible to order just the faceplate of a cdr24 from porsche and alter it to suit as i dont want to use my unit as it will go back in when i sell.

Hi, i am looking to get a pioneer multimedia system to replace my cdr24 does anyone have any links to a flaceplate other than this one Installation Kits > Porsche - Porsche 911(997) BOXSTER(987) Cayman 2DIN DASH KIT - Car Navigation/Audio CONTACT -Pro Shop- it seems a little pricey for a piece of plastic. searched high and low but i cant find anything else so i may have no choice but to go with this one or is it possible to order just the faceplate of a cdr24 from porsche and alter it to suit as i dont want to use my unit as it will go back in when i sell. thanks mark

Its not just the plate, its also all the wiring harnesses and mounting harnesses you need. I used the kit, and it worked excellent.
