This is not a probability of success.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

4 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Hi guys, I noticed the other day, after some heavy rain fall that there is a small leak in both the bottom right and bottom left hand corners of my plastic window, and some water drops had come through to fall onto the carpet covering the engine cover. Have any of you experienced this? What can be done about it? I was thinking maybe some clear silica sealant (like you would use in your shower) might do the trick. Any advice?

POST 3 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

yes it has. It's a 98 model and was replaced a couple of years ago before I bought it. I suspect that the sealant they used when it was replaced might have decayed. It gets pretty hot here in summer (35 celsius plus) so it wouldn't surprise me if it has deteriorated.

POST 4Original post

You could seal it up or alternatively go to our Melbourne factory and have a glass window replacement hood fitted. Why not give them a call on 03 9738 1099.
