Coverage and how to read this overview
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.
40 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

You guessed right the first time. Rich simply has to voice an opinion on this car.

Edited to say I have sent your email to your PH profile email address as well. Just queries on what is involved, eg can we all do it in the same group.

Certainly would Jeremy,,,unfortunately they have no class, they only wanted 360,Mas coupe,996 & XKR owners.
I will follow up on my next contact with them
cheers
I'm no different really, I just spend the same amount of money on three different cars.
Now, if they have one vehicle that they think can satisfy my petrolhead needs then bring it on.
Odd choice grouping together 996Turb & GT2 owners, very different cars- GT2 & GT3 more similar I would have thought.
What about us poor Pagini Zonda owners huh, we've just been left out in the cold
pah new Carerra GT it is then...
hmm UK factory, so guessing UK supercar it must be the new Farbond (sp?)thing ???

GRANT
Email clubsport via his profile, for details. If you do attend you'll probably be in the same group as Rich1231 and myself (sat 5th Apr at 1pm)
DAZ
Edited to say Grant you have mail.

Paul,
Thanks. Spoken with the people and have signed up for the Saturday pending approval.
They're also after an Z8 driver but can't find one. Know of any?
Rob
The company are looking for drivers who've recently purchased 911C2 & C4 Porsches. Anyone interested email Clubsport or myself for details and contact information.

See some of you saturday 1pm, I've never met any of you guys (or gals) before so be gentle with me!
Cheers
Rob
Edited so as not to have a role call which implies we've somehow hijacked the event.

Oooh, bollox, it's Sat isn't it?
Kept thinking it was a Sunday meet, so can't make it after all
I'm in Nottingham until mid afternoon.
Bugger... sorry to miss you guys.
(Don't worry Rob, there's still some of the PH massive going - and you won't miss Turbofree's car... they didn't make many 993 Turbos in Riviera blue!!!)

Errr, I think PCGB meet up at The Bird at Hand on a Saturday at midday...
Are you guys gatecrashing that meet, or do you still want to get together on Sunday, same place, same time?
I can do Sunday, but the PCGB meet may be on Saturday.
It's your call as you suggested it.
Cheers
D
Oh right.
Confusion abounds
Anyway, will be at the Bird at Hand at between12-1pm on SUNDAY, unless something pops up (nuclear war etc.)
Cheers
Dom

Right.
I've got a fax copy of my invite. Looks like the saturday 1pm attendees are to attend at 12.30pm for "nibbles". I am going to aim to get there for midday, to allow for tyre kicking in the car park and my inspecting everyone elses front brake discs (long story, another thread).
Afterwards I am aware of a reasonable Pub about 3 minutes drive away should anyone be interested in a pre-departure Pint and Gas (Pub identified by Rudegirl following an ABD meet at Gaydon in November).
cheers

You're bloody right there: I often drive around feeling like Charlton Heston in The Omega Man, i.e. wondering if I'm the only PHer in the down trodden zone!
Awright, Paul? Hope you're diddling ok?
I did mean the locale...to borrow one of my favourite Basildoms, "some of these people have never sat on chairs."
I think I'd better get one of those stickers from Ted so that any right minded individuals oop here can gesticulate accordingly if encountered on the passes where the ferret roams free.
I just hope the BiB are from Madcop's division!
Cracking day out involving driving to and from the venue by a roads as opposed to motorways. Try it sometime...... Have to say I don't think todays endevours will have done my brake discs any good whatsover.
This is the car we looked at:

Not sure how much I can say before making a phone call to check on monday. So I'll be a bit vague and only mention what's already in the public domain or personal opinion.
The Baby Aston is one of the best looking cars I have ever seen. The front three quarter profile is unmistakably AM. Perfect weight distribution, hand built, not sure if I can mention the proposed performance figures other than to say it should be quicker than the carrera 2, with similar peak torque to the 360. The intention of the factory is clear, to make a serious drivers car. From the style of the car and the proposed performance figures they are definitely on the right track. Of course whatever the proposed power output as a PHer suggestions were made that we'd like to see even more.
Get your letters of intent in boys and girls. This one is on track for being an absolute corker.
Joust and Rich, I think you're going to take delivery of one of these monsters.
In fact a mate of mine who took delivery of a maser last week is going to get a phone call monday morning.

Stricly a two seater. With luggage space that'll take a set of golf clubs and a suitcase.
No comment on price, although discussed it was not in the press release pack, so I feel unable to discuss current thinking behind price level. To some it may be considered a bargain though.
cheers
DAZ
If it matches the carrera dynamically then I reckon it should carry at least a £5k premium, maybe £10k. It is an Aston afterall. I expect the quality of the interior should be on another planet too.
400bhp ? Pff.
And you just know it's going to weigh lots, regardless of whatever funky aluminium sandwich construction they use (like the Vanquish)
550bhp and they might be able to drag me away from my GT2 (maybe)
I have been approached by a market research company, who need the help of owners of recently purchased 996TT & GT2...The deal is on either 5/6 April they would like you to review a forthcoming major rival to this sector of the market.
It will take place at the UK factory, will take approx 2 1/2 hours & they will pay for your trouble.
I am not affiliated to this company in any way,but have signed up for the day.
If any genuine owners of these 2 cars are
If interested, please e-mail me & I will forward the contact details
p.s. Dazren I have already sent you e-mail on this..
