Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

4 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1Original post

All of a sudden, my K40 warning light is always on. Sometimes its dim, then it gets brighter and brighter as I drive longer. Other times, it just stays off. This is all during just normal driving, not when I am being beamed. I have only heard this thing go off once or twice, and Im convinced its a piece of ****, but I would like to know why this light is all of a sudden acting up.

POST 2Original post

I am about to punch the light thru my dash this thing is so annoying...anyone have anything?

POST 3Original post

the only time that I've had that happen with my K40 is when I'm in the wifey's Toyota Sienna with the adaptive cruise. Drive's me nuts to the point where I simply unplug it. Are you on the highway, or side roads, or both when it happens? I would suggest contacting your local rep - I purchased mine at my Porsche dealer and given the cost of the thing, would DEMAND solutions....

POST 4Original post

it was installed by the dealer. I talked to K40 on the phone with little or no good answers. I ended up ripping the system out and will probably install the Escort ZR4.
