Read evidence and context

Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

4 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1Original post

I just had tooki installed in my car and now i cant listen to AM stations without severe high pitched noise coming through the speakers along with static? Anyone have any experience with this? Thanks Dan

POST 2Original post

I just installed the Tooki recently. I have Zero issues with it, it works like a dream. No whines or whistles just crystal clear performance. I followed the Tooki install article found on this forum, worked like a charm very straightforward. Perhaps I might suggest you printout the install article and bring it to the installer just to match up with what they did. Of course other issues beyond the install could be at fault, but if the AM stations where clear prior to the install well connect the dots. I would also suggest the Nav TV website for additional information. I understand Nav TV has great customer support as well so you could contact them for additional insight. Good luck hope you get it cleared up (no pun intended) soon.

POST 3Original post

Thanks for the reply! I called the company and they said I need to install a filter over the power wire. I am bringing the car back tomorrow for the installer to do this. I will keep everyone posted. Dan
