Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Suggestion
I just don't think that the inner edge of the lights running into a contrasting colour does any thing for them.

Is anyone here a photoshop wizard? Wondering if someone can help me photoshop the hood to grossy black.
I am terrible at this type of thing, tried a few things but my ability is limited.
Thank you for trying. I thought black hood may look good on Targa because of the glass roof. I am not sure.... it feels it needs something else to pull this off. Maybe black side mirrors and black wheels....
Honestly, I like it stock, but that being said, the black hood doesn't look bad at all really with the targa. Match it up with black mirrors and wheels, and it might look pretty slick.
You can buy some vinyl wrap for less than $50 and do the hood in less than an hour. See if you like it, and remove if you don't.
You just pulled me right back in
Good suggestion! I just might try that route.
I think it does not work with Turbo bumper though. With Techart bumper, it looks better.
I thought I liked 997 lights but the more I look at it, I like 996.2 better. 997 lights are clean, but maybe too clean. Sometimes I look at them and I go meh.
I did not like 996.1 lights before but I think they look good in GT3 setup.
I just don't think that the inner edge of the lights running into a contrasting colour does any thing for them. I'm kinda get used to the 996.2 lights but I don't think that this does anything to enhance their beauty.
997 however, the lights are away from the bonnet which IMO would look better.
Very nice work, MRWW. Still, I'm not a fan at all of black hoods (unless the rest of the car is black). To me, it just looks like maybe there was some hood damage, but the owner was too cheap to get it properly repaired, so he picked up a used hood at the junk yard.
Why stop with a black hood? Might as well go crazy and deck the whole car out:
