Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

The guy also said he had never seen a TT with Contis before and recommended Michelin P3s for next time.
Leading evidence: 'Recommend michelin p3s' (no explicit attributable resolution; this is a reported action or suggestion). Across 1 matching discussions, The most frequently discussed action is 'Recommend michelin p3s' (1 discussions). For that action, 0 discussions report a resolution and 0 report an unsuccessful attempt. No action has an explicit, attributable resolution report under the current rules. Spent a fair bit of time this last week with my brothers 996C2 changing the tyre pressures as he's recently put 19" wheels on and new michelin PS2s.

You are running a bit more neg camber up front than standard which will make the car more prone to reacting to road cambers and imperfections but with the benefit of quicker reaction on turn in.

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

I had my turbo laser aligned a couple of days ago. Thing is, although much better it still feels a little too wandery on fast, straight roads and not 100% settled in corners.
I'm hoping some of you guys can recognise a good set of figures when you see them. Obviously all the figures are in the green but perhaps their data was wrong? Shouldn't the front cambers be more similar? (Sorry it's a dodgy photo as my scanner is misbehaving (the thrust angle is visible at the bottom):
The guy also said he had never seen a TT with Contis before and recommended Michelin P3s for next time. Might the Contis be the problem? (pressures are fine)
Thanks so much.
Doesn't look very clever to me. I'd want the front camber a lot more even than that. Also, from the screen it looks like they are ising a GT2 setup.
Here are the proper values, but you'll have to convert from degrees/minutes to decimal degrees.
I found Contis were cr*p on mine. Wear rate was abysmal too. Only got 4000 on a set of rears. Switched to Yokohama Advan Sport V103, and it totally transformed the car, and they seem to be lassting really well.
Thanks Richard. Actually the print out I have
is
in degrees and minutes so both the front and rear cambers are only 6 minutes out each. Perhaps they did things ok and I need bushes or something...

How many miles on the tyres? After 50% worn I find they start to wander around a bit. And by that I mean the rears too.
Pressures are critical.
Spent a fair bit of time this last week with my brothers 996C2 changing the tyre pressures as he's recently put 19" wheels on and new michelin PS2s.
We started at 44 rear and 36 front.
Even though it's recently had the geometry set up it just didn't feel right, oversteering on the fronts and the backs were exaggerating the steering.
After a few spirited drives slow and fast altering the pressures down to 32 front and 40 rear made a WORLD of difference. It now feels much more planted and more predictable.
Just a thought that it might be worth giving the pressures a try to see the difference.
If you search here you'll find a wide variety of pressures people drive with, the factory settings seem a little on the high side.
I went to a place called Supertyres in Maldon (sounds dodgy I know but they have an excellent reputation and lots of Porsche guys seem to go there). They charge £65 + £30 per camber adjustment. I needed 4 adjustments so £185.
I think my plan of action then is to go back there next week and have the front negative camber lessened slightly and if that doesn't cure it I will release a pound or two. I don't think for the heavy turbo that 36/44 is as high as for a Carrera though...
