I've seen lots of info on removing the spears, removing the lights, changing bulbs, painting spears, etc but I don't see anything on pulling the front fogs out and leaving them out.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

POST 1Original post

I've seen lots of info on removing the spears, removing the lights, changing bulbs, painting spears, etc but I don't see anything on pulling the front fogs out and leaving them out. Has anyone done this, and kept the stock front bumper? Questions would be - how did you plug the hole (some items in there that wouldn't want to see junk flying in there), any warning lights that bulbs are burnt out, etc? Thx for any info or pointing me in the right direction. I took off my spears yesterday and then took out the fogs - then I thought how I have always felt fogs are useless (imo), especially where I live. btw - anybody interested in GT Silver spears. I might just paint them or buy the black replacements and keep the silvers for resale with the car....

POST 2Original post

When I asked this question I was shot down! How could I buy the car and dislike the fogs? Blasphemy I was told!! I quitely took my car in for service and asked them to paint the spears black. Closest thing to having them non-existent.

POST 3Original post

You are not alone my friend. I am contemplating the same thing and deleting the fogs. Might just do a differnt bumper, but I haven't done research at all on body kits avaliable for my Seal Croxster.

POST 4Original post

I'm stuffing some sponge balls in the holes! That oughta look sophisticated! Or better yet, I'm going to put some ray guns in there - K-Man says they're available as an option!

POST 5Original post

What you don't have fog in Canada. Next you will be saying that you all use different money...

POST 6Original post

We let the British keep that when the settlers came over! We've got to be at least 6 million miles away from a body of water bigger than a puddle here in Western Canada...... Humidity level is between styrofoam and a popcorn fart.
