Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

POST 1Original post

Am trying to decide which will look better -polished or chrome- with Arctic Silver. Anyone installed one on this body color? Is there enough length on the exhaust pipe to install the tip so that it extends just a bit out from the body? Thx.

POST 2Original post

I doubt you'll be able to tell the difference between polished and chrome when both are new, the chrome should stay shinier longer as the polished may need to be polished up to help keep the shine, but it won't discolor like the chrome may due to heat so there are trade-offs. I haven't seen body color other than black but call Ralph and ask him what he can do. He does custom work. Yes tip extends from the body but don't do it too far or you could burn your legs on it if not careful when getting into the hatch.

POST 3Original post

So true, i have the Porsche Sports Exhaust Tips (the round ones) & got burn many time while opening the hatch.

POST 4Original post

Thx much. Have already thought about the burnt leg thing, but think the tip would look "nasty" if it sticks out from the body.

POST 5Original post

Old dude: I have a polished Boothe tip with AS and it looks great. I think I got the first on second from Boothe and no discoloration over 18 months. It had held up well.

POST 6Original post
