Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

I assume for a grand they will replace all the studs and bolts?

They are a solid dealership (from my experience), but will want over a grand to replace the three bolts that hold these two bits together.
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

HI All,
I'm new to this forum, but it seems pretty cool
I have a couple of questions if anyone can help.
1. Can anyone give me the paint code for Basalt Black (on a 54 plate Turbo S)?
2. The Exhaust is blowing between the join from the exhaust to the turbo, according to my local dealer. They are a solid dealership (from my experience), but will want over a grand to replace the three bolts that hold these two bits together. My question is basically, is this a time consuming but relatively easy job to do (I am mechanically minded to a good degree, as I'm currently building a GT40 replica :thumb: )??
If so, I'll tackle it myself, as it probably won't involve any complex electronic or mechanical stuff.
Thanks in advance for any help you guys can provide, I really do appreciate it. :thumb: :thumb: :thumb:
Graham.
Paint Code:
C9Z Basalt black metallic
Should be in the specification label on the front page of the service book and under the bonnet.
Look for the code next to the word LACK (German for paint)
In this photothe code is L[ack]
92U
= Arctic silver metallic
Grant,
Did the same - went to my local garage (NOT OPC as too piggin expensive)... In one hour the bolts were replaced, cost me £30
In fairness, the studs will need to be replaced in a while, but now that I've seen under the car, it looks a relatively easy job to whip the exhaust manifold off...
Thanks for your advice!!
Graham
