Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

23 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1Original post

I don't really belong on these forums yet because I don't actually own a Cayman yet ....But I am seriously considering picking one up. I currently drive a BMW 07 530i and need a sporty (and faster) car for the weekends Anyways on to my question I know all about BMW tuning and prices and I am trying to figure out what it would cost to tune my Cayman the way I would want it. I would NEED to have the TechArt Gt body kit.. I have attached a picture below of the one I am referring too. What would the cost of this kit be without the rims? Thanks alot guys.

Sideeffects, What? They didn't tell you that you need to complete a 6 month apprenticeship at the Cayman Club before they will sell you a Cayman? Welcome to the club. It is very typical for people to come here long before purchasing a Cayman. If you spend a little time here, you will learn more about the Cayman than most Porsche sales people know. It's fun to teach them...... Enjoy and see you around,

POST 6Original post

Your Prices seem a lot higher than what I got quoted from CEC in LA. Perhaps things are more expensive in the Bay area. By the way, I was the one who bought the side skirts from joshb1 for $750.00 (Thanks Josh!) Front - $4,500 Side Skirts - $1,200 No interest for the back bumper. I didn't really care for the way the back end look. Chaseman

POST 7Original post

The original poster just had a heart attack at the cost of a Porsche body kit, someone call an ambulance?

POST 8Original post

Here's the pricing guide from CEC's website. You should see all the different varients you can choose from. I doubt these prices include shipping though. http://www.cecwheels.com/images/medialibrary/07tat_cayman_pg1.pdf

POST 9Original post

Thanks alot guys for all the info its priced right around where I thought it might be... And no.. I didn't have a heart attack lol that front bumper is pretty pricey though if it is upwards of 6 G's like the first reply to my post. But hell look at that beast its definantly worth it

POST 10Original post

StatiX's I don't recall you having red line on the wheels. Looks great. Is it paint or powder? thx!

POST 11Original post

lol i painted it a couple weeks ago its you like it or you hate it kind of deal...

POST 13Original post

lol thanks. i don't know what paint.. i bring it to the bodyshop do you by any chance live around san jose? if you do i can tell you where i paint it

POST 14Original post

That looks great! I'm running red pinstriping but on the stock colour wheels and a thinner stripe. The wider stripe on black wheels looks much better, imo. That will be my winter project.

POST 18Original post

Don't forget a TechArt steering wheel ... I love mine!

POST 19Original post

I don't see your CaymanClub.net logo decal, where is it??

POST 21Original post

Beautiful car, and excellent photo. Couldn't think of a more perfect marriage..

POST 22Original post

I havent made mine permanent because I think I might get tired of it.

POST 23Original post

How many men are sitting in jail right now due to that engine? I think most folks missed your humor on this. With risk taking like that, no wonder they want a few quarts of blood for their window dressing!
