Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

17 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1Original post

well I like the new GTI if you have seen the new issue of eurotuner it has the time attack gti on it. Dont worry this is only a temporary mod. I used vinyl pinstripe. Ill only keep it on a little while. cost me $12.00 What do you guys think? Hit or Miss...

POST 2Original post

I've got red pinstripe on my rear rims - experimenting too. What is the width of the tape you used? Looks like 1/2" plus?? I like what you've done.

POST 4Original post

it's been a trend lately huh? nicely done btw.

POST 5Original post

I think you did a great job. I don't have the same drive to customize as some of you guys do, but it looks like you take it seriously. I also like the hommage to the GTi. I always think that black wheels with red or orange detailing remind me of the original Bat-mobile. For me, as Borat would say: the wheels -- not so much; the rest -- very niiice

POST 6Original post

What does the plate mean? Sexier ??? I can't figure out the second part???

POST 7Original post

they are not custom plates or anything. sexier in 84?

POST 8Original post

IMO, the wheels are OK, but not with the chrome, and it need to be thinner... the front are rear im not feeling...on the GTI it has always worked, but not on your car.... other than that....

POST 9Original post

Wheels are nice, skip the exhaust and front bumper. I would do this to my car if it were not my daily ride as it would be a little too much on a daily basis (the stares, revving of others, the mood). I like red black and white though

POST 10Original post

love it! Statix! Looks alot better on all black, I need a CF or black hood and roof.

POST 11Original post

Im gonna get black vinyl for the front/hood just like this:

POST 12Original post

ed Nice job. I would make the stripes thinner though. I like the look against the CW.

POST 13Original post

For vinyl, i think it looks good. Although, I would just suggest, to do it all out and completely, i would get the lips of your wheels anodized red, that would be ILL.

POST 14Original post

Thats actually what I wanted to do first. I was going to get clear red vinyl wide enough to cover the lips. But I tried this first. I've gotten alot of positive comments from it. Statix pulled the trigger and made it permanent, looks killer on all black.

POST 15Original post

i think it look better on white tho... are you going to make it permanent?

POST 16Original post

no trust me it looks better on black, I am not making it permanent.

POST 17Original post

just do it! but dont do a permanent job on it. (in case u're bored with the color)
