Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

I know many people run blue or orange upfront and OEM rear which would be a larger increase on front bias...

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

Thinking of upgrading my pads. I want better performance on track but without a massive increase in disc wear, hence not going for RS-19 or RS-29s. I understand RS4-2 is the same as Porsche OEM sport pad which is a good compromise. However RS-5 is apparently a ceramic upgraded version of the RS4-2...

Confused now...

Brake wear is probably not that different on the RS29's, which have a slightly better cold bit than the RS19's
RS29's
as they will make a different when it matters
Thanks Sundeep but from what I'm reading if you do any daily driving on Yellow's they'll eat your discs. Not at track temps they don't have the layer deposit and work more like sandpaper. Also Orange are getting the reputation of leaving big deposits creating brake vibration...
Plus without moving to track tyres my ABS will be freaking out on too aggressive a pad...

I had Pagid Blues on my 996T for a few months - they squeel like mad, less bite than standard and then cracked up on a track day - never again! I went back to standard.
I have Pagid yellows however on my RS4 which is a daily driver and are superb - great bite, discs lasted 40K miles and pads the same. I don't do track days in it mind you.
When the time comes, I'll go for yellows on the 996

don't you mean less 'initial' bite. Blues are designed to operate at lower temperature than yellow though aren't they?
When you say 'cracked' up on the track day, what do you mean exactly?
