Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Hi all, I was wondering if anyone could recommend a car cover for a 996 Turbo ? I want a cover that is not too heavy duty but also water proof. It will be used to cover the car when it is on the drive to protect the paintwork from tree sap (unfortunately I have an oak tree overhanging the drive) and to protect it from dust and any knocks when stored in the garage over winter. The only one I have come across that apparently fits the Turbo is the Stormforce cover but it looks to be quite heavy duty to me (and therefore bulky and heavy). Does anyone have any experience of it or an alternative ? Thanks

I like the look of the Porsche OEM cover loo but for outdoors, they are a liability - lets every passer by know what is under the cover. For indoors though, they look great !

The not one the indoor silver cloth one ... works well , but as you say it does have a rather large crest on the front !
