This is not a probability of success.

I also replaced the clear bra with a high end job (done by Detailing Dynamics) with full front coverage including full hood.

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

my car is 02 and went into service 3/02. it have underwent yearly oil service since it was only driven 3-5K miles/year.
i bought the car in 5/05 and it went through the precertified inspection and an oil change. i took the car back in 1/06 and had another oil service.
i asked if i needed anything more since was at 17k miles. i was told that oil service is good enough as my pre-certified inspection would have taken care of various inspection.
so i took the car back today for some warranty stuff. i was told that i should have a major service. he felt that it was important for a 4 year old that only had oil service done. furthermore, since i have 2 more years of pre-cert warranty, i should do it to keep up maintainence.
Is this true???? or am i just donating 1000 dollars to their christmas party fund?
a freiend of mine to me that according to porsche guideline, a 17k mile car doesn't need anything but oil change.....
thanks in advance.

Car is in excellent condition, recent (earlier this year) major maintenance including plugs/coil packs/belts/brake flush/coolant flush, etc. I'm the second owner (purchased as CPO car 3 years ago). This is a truly excellent example (this is my second 997 Turbo)... a rare fully optioned Turbo in a great color that doesn't consume any oil at all. Still under CPO warranty. Only selling due to planned move overseas.

thanks for the comments guys... it's definitely a great color but tough to photograph. I really thought I'd keep this one forever... I'm even more attached to this one than my 2007 that I ordered myself. I'm still somewhat tempted to put it in storage but I'll be out of the country for at least 4 years and would imagine that even properly stored that can't be good for it.
Why not just read the manual for service needs?
Tranny fluid, Fuel filter, coolant change at 4 yr / 17k mi is clearly not necessary
You just need a 15k service and brake fluid change (every 3 yrs). 15k service includes inspections, oil change, cabin filter change. Air filter is every 30k or earlier depending on amount of dirt.
Don't waste your money.
