I have a base 2012 cayman and currently have the stock 17" wheels. In need of new tires and I am finding it quite difficult to find new tires with the asymmetrical front and back in the 17's. Thinking of bumping up to 18" wheels and am a bit confused as to what will work when buying used. Any suggestions of what years or models will work without having to change anything. Just wanting to mount them on with no fuss. Seems 18 x8 57 for front and 18 x 9 43 on back is the way to go. Just having a hard time finding out what year porsche wheels will work and do I need to stay with 987 II wheels. Thanks

You have many options as long as the offsets and widths are close. I changed from 2008 CS 18's to 19"'s which were a factory option back then. The rears are 46mm and the old ones were 43mm. I have 7.5mm spacers up front and 15mm on rears.
