I use Pagid Orange, OK for the street, warms up after a couple of stops and has good life on the track.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

3 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

My "brake wear" dash light is now on, although I can see plenty of pad left on all four. So I'll probably go ahead and replace the pads. Question: Should I use the stock pads, or something else? (my car goes to the track 3 to 4 times a year) Thanks

POST 2Original post

How long did these pads last? Stock is OK if you got a couple of years out of them. Unfortunatly stock only lasts me a couple of days on the track. I use Pagid Orange, OK for the street, warms up after a couple of stops and has good life on the track. The rotors were not real happy with them. I have an '01 C2, drove a Turbo with stock brakes and my pagids felt better.

POST 3Original post

I have been to the track 6 days since I purchased my 01 C4. After the 4th track day and 20,000 I replaced my front pads and had the rotors turned by the dealer. My rears are due soon with 6 days on the track and 22,000 miles. Note that I replaced the front pads before the sensors were toasted. FDR
