I do not believe that part exists, you have to change the entire headlamp unit to a 2000 or 2001 model.

I've seen photos of '99 996s that have modified the headlamp indicator lens from amber to clear. Does anybody know who makes this modified lense?

I do not believe that part exists, you have to change the entire headlamp unit to a 2000 or 2001 model. Quite a few turn up on eBay from those who have upgraded to Litronics. The cheap, small, clear corner piece to match is available from Carnewal or Suncoast Motorsports, as are the clear side markers. Both Gert at Carnewal and Phil Anderson at Suncoast are brilliant to deal with. I believe Suncoast has some "Euro" and Litronic lighting packages at pretty dramatic discounts to list.
