Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

26 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

Xstasy, So what is the arrival day? Since it has been there since Saturday, the dealer must have it preped to go by now. Will they let you take it, and if so, when?

POST 7Original post

I will be surprised if anyone gets to take their car before the 14th. This is one thing that seems to be consistant. Russ Edited by - RussK on 01/09/2006 7:28:58 PM

Xstasy, I do hope you are inconsistant! I can't wait for someone here in the U.S. to get there car. Aloha Russ

POST 11Original post

You dudes are really fortunate! Getting your cars so soon, I wish. My car is to be completed on the 20th of January, but who knows how long before it arrives, maybe March. At least I'll be forced to let the worst weather subside (no I'd rather have my car). My dealer's Cayman party is on my birthday at least. I've gotta get a drive in one of the cars they'll have available. I've only bought a few cars without test driving before, but this one I can hardly wait to start-up, and drive. I'm really getting stoked.

POST 12Original post

Lizard, You have the right idea, look for the positive aspects!!! My wife is very pleased what I did with our garage, and several other things just to pass the time more quickly. So the wait can be a good thing if you look at it that way. The time will pass and you will be enjoying yours sooner than you know. Aloha Russ

POST 14Original post

My Cayman S (GT Silver/Black Sport Seats #1230) was delivered to the Dealer Monday Jan. 9th and they have informed me that I can pick it up Wed. Jan 11th (an authorized delivery to customer date by Porsche). They are going to do the PDI today, although I have requested for them not to detail the car as I prefer to remove the protective film etc and detail the car myself, and of course NO HOLES for front license plate bracket PLEASE.

POST 15Original post

got the car home, drove around for a while, going to go out after rush hour to really open it up, I am thrilled. Sounds awesome, I will post some pics tomorrow.

POST 26Original post

Congrats you guys on getting the cars!!!! Hearing all this talk of driving them is making the wait pass by very very slowly. Dealer doesnt have a demo car in as yet. Called today and informed me that before they can option out the car we have to do the purchase contract....... At this point I will do almost anything that will speed delivery of the car!!!!!!!! NOW, if I could only get a concrete delivery date!!!!! They don't have car at dealer yet but says it could be in transit from the docks. Its a hurry up and wait time.
