Read evidence and context
Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Source reports, not a diagnosis or a success probability. Counts refer to discussions and can overlap.
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

My brother (986S), my friend (E46 M3) & I went to couple of speedtrial events and we mounted the camcorder on the 986S and here we have some great videos to share with you guys.

You can see the 986S is actually pretty competitive with the M3 on the track (on the street too, I believed) while the 996 '02 C2 is pulling away the 986S on almost everywhere.(that means the M3 will got pull away from the 996 too)
Here you see the difference between the E46 M3 & a 2002 996 C2. Too bad I have not mount any camcorder in my car (don't have harness bar or roll bar) and I was actually have to lift off the throttle to wait for the M3 when we both come out from the corner.
The file size is pretty big, be patient, enjoy!

Guess what?! My buddy who owns the E46 M3 in the video traded his M3 in for a '02 996 C2 two months ago.
We went to BUTTONWILLOW today(a race track about 120 miles north of Los Angeles). There was a current generation M5 in my race group, the M5 ran on slick tires and driven by a guy who also owns a '00 996 Race Car; and my '02 C2 once again beat his M5 on corners and back straight. My car ran stock P-Zero Rosso with JIC Coil Over suspension with Aluminum Mono-ball pillow mounts. Despite the power advantage of the M5, the 2002 996 seems to pick up the speed much faster than the M5 coming out from the corners. The margin is actually pretty huge (about 2 car lengths).
I believe Porsche is a better automobile on track than the "Ultimate Driving Machine" <img src="graemlins/jumper.gif" border="0" alt="[jumper]" />
