This is not a probability of success.

Suggestion

You notice it more on darker colors than lighter, but more than a couple of feet away you don't notice it at all, if you are uncertain check a car that has had it done, or go look at the Cayman and in front of the rear wheels look at the factory piece there and extrapolate from that.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

5 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1Original post

Here is the second known clear bra pattern available for the Cayman S. I don't have pricing on it yet, but expect to tomorrow. Alan sent me this pattern as well, looks like the whole thing didn't fit on his scanner so I'll see if I can get a cleaner version to show everything, but you can make out the important stuff.

POST 2Original post

btw I am working on getting Starshield to be a sponsor so if you talk to them mention this website and encourage them to sign up!

POST 3Original post

Here is the pricing I received on the kit, I believe this is their normal retail price: The cost for the material for the 06 Porsche Cayman is $420.00, for the B kit which includes only the front end protection (hood, full front bumper, end caps, mirrors and spoiler). However, it does not include labor. I have a call into them about sponsorship, group buys, etc.

POST 4Original post

How specialized is it to put on? Is it noticable once you put it on?

POST 5Original post

There are other message threads here about clear bras, I suggest running a search on them. The Cayman will be a difficult car to do so I suggest a very good installer. You notice it more on darker colors than lighter, but more than a couple of feet away you don't notice it at all, if you are uncertain check a car that has had it done, or go look at the Cayman and in front of the rear wheels look at the factory piece there and extrapolate from that.

This is a source reference. Confirm exact model applicability in the original material.
