Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

0 original-poster resolution reports. Counts can overlap; they are not unique people or a success rate.

0 discussions have direct query context; 0 report a fix in that context. Other evidence may inherit the discussion’s subject.

Suggestion

Maybe for the Techart wheels to fit you need to roll the fenders - I know Tirerack used to rent out a tool to do that or some people used a baseball batt.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

POST 1Original post

Does anyone know how wide all of the available wheels for the cayman are? TIA

POST 2Original post

Check out this link: http://www.porsche.com/international/accessoriesandservice/tequipment/boxster-987/wheels/table/

POST 3Original post

thanks, thats exactly what i was looking for. last question, how wide are the standard 18s in the rear? 9inches?

POST 4Original post

Base wheels are same as Boxster S: 8J front, 9J rear. Here's another usefull link if you want to compare how aftermarket wheels will sit in the wheel wells compared to stock wheels given wheel size and offset: http://www.1010tires.com/WheelOffsetCalculator.asp .

POST 5Original post

Does anybody know what is the widest rear wheel that can fit the Cayman. I know the TechArt has 11' in the rear but Champion Motorsports says that it is the same as the boxster and 19X11 will not fit in the rears.

POST 6Original post

Scopacetic- thanks a lot for that link. Its sure gonna help me out a lot in the near future.

POST 7Original post

Maybe for the Techart wheels to fit you need to roll the fenders - I know Tirerack used to rent out a tool to do that or some people used a baseball batt. On the other hand, given those large wheel arches, maybe they shift the wheel with a different offset.

POST 8Original post

The optional 19' Carrera sport wheels are half-an-inch wider both front and rear. brad
