Hi, I appreciate there have been multiple posts on this already but I still can't seem to find a definitive answer. I have recently purchased a porsche cayman 987 2.7 2008 which has done 68k miles. I have seen conflicting advice on whether I should run the Porsche recommended 0w40 or change to 5w40? Also, any recommendations on brands would be appreciated? Thanks, Liam

Yep, every 5000 miles/6 months whichever comes first. If you drive 5 miles per year, oil should still be changed twice in that time frame.
