I no longer have the multi-changer - and whilst the trim behind where it used to be is almost continuous there is a patch where you can see the interior of the luggage tub - painted steel with wires running across it.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

5 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

This is the standard CD multi-changer location: I no longer have the multi-changer - and whilst the trim behind where it used to be is almost continuous there is a patch where you can see the interior of the luggage tub - painted steel with wires running across it. It's the section that would be adjacent to the right hand side of the CD changer, as you look at the unit when standing in front of the car looking into the boot (if that makes sense). Is there a trim piece that goes here for non-CD multi-changer cars? Or is the entire trim section on the right of the boot that contains the courtesy light different for non-multi-changer vehicles?

POST 2 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

The answer to my question is yes, this does exist - this is the part that goes on the right hand side: https://www.jasmine-porschalink.co....ood-lining-cover-99655113502-used-48811-p.asp And it has a section that goes behind the CD player that is clearly designed to be snapped out when assembling a car with a multichanger.
