Suggestion

I was wondering if they use the used the standard strut, moving the shocks inward, or if they use a different shock mount with more camber/caster.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

POST 1Original post

I've heard that the Boxster Spyder, along with a 20mm lowered suspension, has improved front and rear camber... I was wondering if they use the used the standard strut, moving the shocks inward, or if they use a different shock mount with more camber/caster. If they use a new strut mount, we could buy and swap into our standard Boxsters and Caymans. Any thought? Asking to Spyder owners...

POST 2Original post

The 20 mm lower suspension setting alone will provide slightly more negative camber, but the Boxsters and Caymans could use even more.

POST 3Original post

i don't think i need more negative camber in my CS, i'm already getting more tire wear on the inside treads than on the outside and the alignment is in spec.
