Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

POST 1Original post

Hey Guys; I just had the Brake service light come on. Any advice on replacement brake parts etc. would be greatly appreciated. Needing pads rotors etc... Also an internet supplier would be great as well. Thanks in Advcance Brett

POST 2Original post

If you are reasonably handy with a wrench, changing your rotors and pads is not a difficult DIY task - see our Articles section: Slotted Rotors - Articles Slotted Brake Rotors - Articles 41.JPG - Articles For OEM replacement parts, I would recommend one of our sponsors: Suncoast - their prices are pretty good, and they are good people to deal with. Note: In addition to the pads and rotors, you will need a new set of caliper bolts, and if you have already gotten a brake pad warning light, then you will probably have to replace one or more of your sensors as well.

POST 3Original post

If a performance upgrade is something you may be looking into, let me know. A new set of rotors and set of Pagid pads can transform your driving experience in a hurry. We carry setups for both the aggressive driver or all out track monster, I'm sure we can find the right fit for you.

POST 4Original post

Is there any reason to believe you need more than new pads? The stock rotors are pretty durable if you don't really push them on the track.

POST 5Original post

There are grooves on all of the rotors and I just clicked Over 94,000 kilometers. So I think it may be a good idea to just change everything. Thanks

POST 6Original post

Hello; What did you have in mind price wise for just normal driving? Thanks Brett

POST 7Original post

Uhhh, 94,000 km -- that's durable! At 14k miles my front rotors are cracked badly, but I track it pretty hard. If you're happy with performance and got that kind of life, I would replace with like. Suncoast will get you set up.
