Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

14 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Porsche tell me there is no retrofit for the R but believe the sports exhaust retrofit for the Cayman S will fit. Note the word believe, so does anyone know for sure. Thanks

POST 2Original post

yes you can fit and the S is not the same as the R, the R is a bigger 55mm unit vs the S 48mm

POST 3 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Thanks, do you think that size difference would cause any issue

POST 4Original post

55mm is more power/noise ie the S one is NOT for the R if you want the full bhp

POST 5 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

It's that or nothing then....darn it

POST 8Original post

Is the PSE really noticeable over a stock exhaust though? I was a bit concerned mine didn't have it but then reading many posts in different forums, a lot right it off as being a disappointment. At over £3k as an option I think most opted for an aftermarket system. I think mine sounds pretty decent as-is, not that I wouldn't mind a bit of snap, crackle and pop

POST 9Original post

Ive got a full R-exhaust system if you want it. Hit me up with an offer. only 7000 miles on it, as new. its not the sports exhaust though

POST 14Original post

Having just listened to some YouTube clips of the PSE I realised I am definitely losing out in the aural delight department on my R! Do you guys that have it fitted hear it nicely from the drivers seat over the (lovely) induction roar or is it more for people outside the cars benefit? Think I'll be getting in touch with an OPC for a price to fit it, assuming they can?
