Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

2 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

97 base model - 2.5. Replaced the AOS last fall and shortly after got a P0341. Thing is, she ran fine, and has ever since. But, I have to pass emissions test soon and a CEL is death to that. Thinking I shorted or dislodged a connector or pinched a wire in the AOS surgery but a few weeks ago I checked and could find nothing-although it a pretty tight squeeze just to eyeball. Any advice would be appreciated, as simple as possible as I'm a grade C wrench at best. Thanks, Jb

POST 2Original post

P0341 indicates that the cam position sensor on bank 1 has either an implausible signal or is shorted to ground.
