Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

3 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Anybody interested in taking over a lease on an '02 996? Seal Greay metallic, Advanced Technic, Leather, 18" SportDesign wheels, 6 speed, PSM. It's a gorgeous car but I am moving to the UK and the left hand drive thing isn't going to work. 2000 miles. I'll provide a financial incentive (cash upfront for the first few payments) for anybody that wants it.) Either PM me or leave a number where I can call you. Leave email address and I'll send you pics.

POST 2Original post

Is this the same 996 you complained about in your August 21 post: "Totally P***** off with new 996"?

[quote]Originally posted by laurence '97 C4S: Is this the same 996 you complained about in your August 21 post: "Totally P***** off with new 996"?

The very same one. You'll note the follow-up posts that I made saying that everything was fixed. The car did have a faulty fuel gauge and it was replaced. It also had a relay go out that stopped it from starting and that was fixed. That was all within the first few hundred miles and has driven fine for the past couple of months and I have no complaints now. I was planning to ship the car over to the UK but I can't unless there's a clean title. Furthermore, it's a LHD so it'd be an inconvenience over there. SO my choices are to buy it out and pay way over the odds due to being at the beginning of the lease, store the car for a year until we come back, or to have somebody take it over. The latter is the best for me. It's work out for whomever takes it over also because I'll pay a few grand for them to take it over. Fancy a free car for the next few months ? The allroad has to go to.
