Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

POST 1Original post

Purchased the car about 4 months ago and have two little issues that I'm having trouble resolving. Headlamp washers won't operate both the switch and washers work as they can be controlled from a diagnostic tool but don't seem to talk to each other. Same type of issue with the garage door opener, which I've swapped out both the switch and transmitter. Had the dealership look into it but was told they would need to do some old fashioned investigating and it could be a couple of days worth of effort. So I'm lookin for some suggestions.

POST 2Original post

I'm in the same position. Do you have heated seats and if so do they work? It could be that the computer needs a reset by the dealer. Good luck! -tom

POST 3Original post

No heated seats. Everything else works ok. Dealership seemed to focus on wiring rather than electronics. Anyone have a wiring diagram see if they both go via the same route somewhere ?
