Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

3 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

The lower left digital display on my instrument panel that displays odometer/trip meter has gone dark. Does anyone know which fuse supports that? Bentleys does not break it out

POST 2Original post

The bulb is out. You will need to pull the cluster to replace.

+1. I bought a 98 Boxster years ago on the cheap ($4,800). One of the things that the owner listed is there was no odometer readout. When I went to look at the car, it was sitting as just the right angle with the sun behind the car that I could make out the faint display. I pulled the cluster and replaced the bulb. Also note that if you ever lose your cruise control function, it'll mostly likely be a bad bulb (really)!
