But for filling, Porsche manual advises filling using their tester which I don't have, but again, I was hoping for the normal of keep filling/topping the header tank whilst cycling the radiator fans a few times.

Also, was planning on using normal type antifreeze for refill, unless anyone advises otherwise ?

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

1 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

It's not an exciting subject but does anyone have any experience of this ? For draining was planning on doing the norm, i.e. just seperating a low cooling hose around the water pump somewhere. But for filling, Porsche manual advises filling using their tester which I don't have, but again, I was hoping for the normal of keep filling/topping the header tank whilst cycling the radiator fans a few times. Has anyone perfomed this, are there any high spot bleed points I should be aware off etc, I've my water pump to repace, and don't really want to start until I'm confident I can refill and bleed fully and avoid damaging the engine through air locks situations I'm not aware off etc. Also, was planning on using normal type antifreeze for refill, unless anyone advises otherwise ? Any help apprecaited.
