Has anyone purchased these from Euro Motorspeed. They have them on ebay under "NEW Porsche Boxster OEM Rear Speaker Kit - 2005 to 2008" I was wondering if it would help with hearing the stereo during top down mode. Also, does anyone know if the fader for the cdr-24 can be turned on in the Boxster so the rear speakers, which these would be attached to, can be controlled relative to the front speakers. Since the Cayman uses the fader controll as do the bose equiped cars it should be possible. My car is Sound Plus, no Bose.

I have installed this rear speaker set from Euro MotorSpeed. It does give you a better surround sound feeling. Installation is reasonable simple but take you some hours. I was told that the fader can be enabled with the PIWIS at your dealership. Haven't done this yet. I'm considering installing an Amplifier as well. I also had to change my front door speakers. Thanks for the info. Is your car Bose equiped or not? Where do you connect these speakers? To the head unit or to the amplifier in the front trunk?

No, I don't have the Bose option, just the CDR24 . I still haven't figured out how to enable the fader option. The dealer didn't know how to do this although they did give it a try.

I don't know where or how these speakers mount but I added good rear speakers to my old Boxster S and found that with the top down it blocks much of the sound from the rear speakers so while the new speakers help with the top up I don't see how any speakers mounted on the rear self will help much with the top down.
