I had the Kenwood KOS-A200 installed this week. I have an 05 BS with the Bose System and no PCM. The origional install added a Sirius Sat and the iPod. I thought the Sat. sound quality sucked. It didn't seem to have CD quality. I used the 5L port for my iPod and disconned the Sat. The iPod requires another part KCA iP500. So far I have been very pleased with the sound quality and the FM Modulator sends out the RDS signal to the headunit so the songs display as they are played. This seems to be a good alternative. Retail KOS-A200 $200 KCA-iP500 $50

Thanks for the feedback on the Kenwood KOS A200. Can you tell me where you had the remote control signal receiver installed? I'm sorry to hear that the Sirius sound was not acceptable. But, the heads-up on that aspect of the Kenwood unit is appreciated.

I put it right front of the shift boot. I figured I could velcro the remote to the ashtray if needed. I'll try to get you a picture when I get home.

I wanted to update this thread to let everyone know I pulled this and replaced it with the Gateway 500. I suggest getting a cheap FM modulator if this is the way you want to go, I really didn't like the sound quality, the Gateway 500 gives true CD quality from the ipod.
