Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

5 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

  • 911uk: 1 discussions

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Just had a new windscreen installed in the C4s, the wife has just called to say she tried to put it back in the garage but it will not start?? All doors unlock, radio comes on etc, but it will not fire just makes noise. Any clues guys?? cheers

POST 2Original post

I had a problem with mine not starting, and yet all of the electrics seemed to work. It was a flat battery however. It made a rapid clicking sound when I tried to start, and the dash flickered. I tried jump starting in just in case that was the problem, and it turns out it was. If nothing else has changed then a flat battery could be a likely candidate.

POST 3 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

right it could be , as they brought the wrong screen yesterday and the car was left in the garage without the screen in.. thx

POST 4Original post

Was the key left in the ignition for a prolonged period... that'll do it. Been there, done that...
