You just need to remove the headlight switch and link the ignition power to the fog lights using a diode.

I know there are various third party daily running light options for the 987.1 Boxster and Cayman . But I simply want to rewire the existing stock fog lights in my 987.1 CS to make them DRLs. Is this possible? If so, how is can it be done? I did a google and P9 search and only came up with third party purchase options... nothing related to rewiring the stock fog lights. Thanks!

For the record - this is fairly easy to do. You just need to remove the headlight switch and link the ignition power to the fog lights using a diode. I can't remember exactly which wires you use but this should show up in a search.
