Hey guys, this is my first post here. I just became the proud owner of a
2008 Boxster
Base last month. I was lucky enough to find one with a mere 12000 miles on it. So far I have loved every minute behind the wheel. As with any vehicle I’ve owned, I have already started my hands-on projects to give it a personal feel. First order was installing the clear side marker lights.
Next
was installing my Alpine ILX-007,
Apple Carplay
headunit along with replacing the out-of-focus backup camera that was previously installed. For the exterior, I want to keep things simple with some touches of carbon fiber. First I’d like to install a nice set of splitters up front. If I can get real carbon fiber, I’d prefer that, but otherwise I’d be happy with a set that I could have hydrodipped. I saw these and I was wondering if they would indeed fit my car?

I take descriptions on this site with a grain of salt. If anyone could give me a better idea if they would fit, it would be appreciated, otherwise I’m open to alternatives. Thanks
I would be very leery of this. Not saying it's bad but this company has knocked off several P-9 sponsors parts including ours. I have talked with someone who bought our spoiler copy, the fit was so poor he never got it mounted and was trying to sell it.
Unfortunately we do not make this but you might look to see if Joe Toth sells one or Jon at Composites Concepts ??? (sorry Jon) to see if they have a product.
If you do buy this please post or send me a private massage.
Thanks,

Thanks For the info Dave. “Leery” is exactly how I feel. Between your reply and the lack of replies in general, they are officially no longer being considered. I’m always happy to spend a few more dollars to put something reputable on my car. That’s why I reached out directly to you when I saw examples of your work. Thanks again.
After a lot of research, I ultimately purchased a set of splitters manufactured by a German company, made specifically for the base 987. I had to purchase them from a dealer in England. It was a smooth transaction and very fast shipping.
Next
I took them to a local shop here at the Jersey Shore that does hydrodipping. Finally I had Bodymotion do the installation today. They used adhesive and factory hardware and here are the results. I couldn’t be happier.
