Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Leading evidence: 'Replace like' (no explicit attributable resolution; this is a reported action or suggestion). Across 1 matching discussions, The most frequently discussed action is 'Replace like' (1 discussions). For that action, 0 discussions report a resolution and 0 report an unsuccessful attempt. No action has an explicit, attributable resolution report under the current rules. These are forum reports and suggestions, not a confirmed diagnosis.

Suggestion
I improved them by twisting arms to set the blades angle, but they still did it a bit.
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

ebay id say, i swear by the flat aero blades, they squeegy your screen clear ! and dont lift off at speed.

PIAA silicone wipers. These coat the screen (with silicone) as you use them, making the screen very 'clear' when it rains. These blades also last for a VERY long time.
A set on one of my cars has lasted through three MOTs.
PIAAs are one of those very rare products that ACTUALLY do the job well.
IMO and no association with PIAA by the way
I agree about PIAA blades.
I bought a pair a few months ago on the recommendation of earlier posts on this forum. An aerofile blade on the drivers side and curved blade on the passengers side. easy to fit. No smears, and no lift chatter at speed.
More expensive than some blades, but in my opinion well worth it. Try Camskill, good price and service.
These sound good. I also have a 996 C4S 2004.
Based on the above posts, I need one 22" spoiler blade (drivers side) and one curved) passenger - top and middle in the below?

Did seem odd - but Bluebird911, Richard H and Stuart should hopefully concur - or you might find yourself in the great 2010 straight vs curvy silicone wiper flame war where mods take sides, families are split and questions are asked in the house.
I've got straight ones on mine (Sporza on the driver's side). It misses a tiny bit on the left hand edge on the passenger side at the bottom, but you can't see it from the driving seat.
I believe the original blades had a curve as you look along the length of the blade - not extra-curvy blades. TBH I wasn't sure how the PIAA blades curved, so I went with straight on both sides. Works fine.
Thanks Richard.
I'lii just order one of each and answer the conundrum - can the curved ones get the last tiny bit on the passenger side.
Apologies to clint for the hi-jack. We return you to your normal programming.
Yes Richard is right.
I had standard Porsche blades on untill I replaced them with PIAAs. The curve is very slght. The 'curve' does not follow the profile of the window (the blade frame flexes to keep the blade in contact with the screen), but when in the blades are upright ie at the fullest sweep to the right viewing from the diver's seat, the passenger blade is a slight 'c' in shape.
Straight or curved, I can't see it making much difference. I changed like for like.
