Cargraphic has Vband which is the best connections for exhausts.
wow I thought someone would reply to this
:argue:
I'll reply. Looks like Cargrphic doesn't make their own stuff (which has almost always been the case) Here they are relabelling a Milltek exhaust as their own (the version with adjustable tips it looks like) or they are polishing up a Porsche stock exhaust and selling some bling. Are you surprised?
In either way, those are some ugly welds. For that kind of money, the exhaust should look immaculate. It looks like ****.
Keep in mind they also chopped up a
986
Boxster
muffler and offered it as a "
Cayman
" muffler last year.

Not so sure they're rebadging anything. For years, their exhausts were made by Phoenix in the U.K. and were clearly labeled as such. As for Cayman exhaust designs, I don't see a massive amount of originality out there on anyone's part...
I think K-man is right. After I got my Chinese sourced cat back which is so far a very nice piece, I did some digging and found another highly respected tuner sourcing products from China. Not that that is bad, it is good business but as K-man suggests, if you get a licensing agreement to fab up a system that you already know makes power you can't really fault them for trying to make some money, they are in business for profit.
Also, due to the construction of the car, they are all going to have some similarity. I know Kman and someone else said that my AP was very similar to a fabspeed unit.
My only complaint is that fabspeed/milltek/AWE charge so much money for their products and this is especially true if they only paid a licensing fee and didn't rely on their own R&D to design the pipes.
I will say just because it looks the same on the outside doesn't mean that it is made with the same materials inside. Who knows but on cheaper versions it might not be stainless steel inside, you never know. Also, you don't know if they use baffling rather than chambers or vice versa.
Just don't judge a book by it cover.
I never said they were the same. I just said they look alike.
The 996TT exhaust from Cargraphic is _exactly_ the same as the one from MillTek btw
